Dual Platform for Document Management

Summary

For this project, we created a dual document management system that improves access to and sharing of information within the company. The platform includes a segment for internal documents and one for personal documents, offering advanced functionalities and enhanced security.

Challenge

Document management within the company was a fragmented and inefficient process. Employees had to use laptops and send documents via email or other insecure channels. An integrated solution was needed to allow easy and secure access to documents, regardless of the device used.

Solution

We developed a customized web application using Python and Flask for the backend, MySQL for the database, and Bootstrap 5, CSS, JS, jQuery, and ChartJS for the frontend. The solution includes a segment for internal documents functioning as an employee portal and a segment for personal documents serving as a personal cloud. We implemented security measures, an intuitive interface, and cross-platform compatibility for maximum accessibility.

Result

The implementation of the platform significantly increased efficiency in document management and sharing, reducing time lost in information transmission and improving data security. Employees can now access and share documents quickly and securely using any device.
