Product warranty scanning application

Summary

For this project, we created an application that optimizes the product warranty registration process by scanning barcodes and integrating with the ERP system. The application ensures real-time verification of scanned codes and automates warranty registration.

Challenge

The manual product warranty registration process was prone to errors and inefficient. A solution was needed to enable quick and accurate verification of barcodes and seamless integration with the existing ERP system.

Solution

We developed a customized web application using Python and Flask for the backend, MySQL for the database, and Bootstrap 5, CSS, JS, jQuery, and ChartJS for the frontend. The application allows scanning of document codes, product barcodes, and unique serial numbers with real-time verification and integration with ERP via APIs.

Result

The implementation of the application significantly reduced errors in the warranty registration process and improved the verification and validation of products. The accuracy of data recorded in the ERP system increased, contributing to the overall improvement of the company's operations.
